PLACING AN ORDER

Terms Of Purchase

Please contact CJ Dixon by email or by telephone, indicate your requested item(s) and provide your shipping location.  A quote for the total amount, including shipping, will be given.  The quoted price, when the order is placed (deposit received), is the total amount paid when the instrument is completed.

A 50% deposit is required at time of order to secure a schedule opening.  This deposit is non-refundable except in such a case as CJ Dixon is not able to physically complete the order.  The balance of the order payment is required within 30 days upon notification of completion.  After 30 days has expired without payment, the instrument becomes forfeit to the original purchaser.

Shipping costs quoted, are CJ Dixon costs.  Additional shipping costs may also apply by other agencies (brokerage, duty, taxes, etc.), are not covered in the quote specified and is not the responsibility of CJ Dixon. 

When making payment, please indicate clearly what you are ordering and provide all contact information including email. 

Upon receiving the deposit a tentative lead time will be communicated.  Lead times are an estimated completion date only and are subject to change.

WARRANTY

It is CJ Dixon's desire to meet or exceed the customer's expectations.  If a product purchased is deemed inadequate in any way, it will either be repaired/replaced at no cost to customer or, if desired, returned for a full refund on the instrument cost (shipping not included) within 15 days of order being received.  A refund is not given if modifications, abuse or excessive wear is evident.

Warranty

All components produced by CJ Dixon are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship, for life. This does not apply to chanter reeds or where instrument modifications, abuse or neglect is evident.

After receiving my CJ Dixon bellows, I cannot be a happier piper.  My first thoughts were focused on the beautiful craftsmanship.  Each component is 100 % quality.  The bellows is so comfortable, powerful and efficient... The pumping action is 100% vertical with no wasted lateral movement.  I was using a bellows from a very reputable maker before, but was always bottoming out when playing my full set.  Bottoming out is just not possible with my CJ Dixon bellows. Playing for hours at a time is now possible. These bellows let the pipes play themselves!

"The kit comprises all the components required to assemble a working bellows for the Uilleann pipes. Almost everything required to assemble the bellows is provided and the buyer only really needs a few simple tools to get the job done.

The instructions are easy to follow and it was a real joy to work on. If you’ve never put a bellows together, then this is the perfect learning activity.

Upon completion I could tell immediately, without even trying it out on my pipes, that this was what I had been looking for in a replacement bellows. The action is very smooth and the volume of air delivered is markedly more than my previous bellows could manage.

They are attractive in appearance with oak clappers and black leather. An elbow pad is included and the hinge is leather which adds flexibility to the pumping action. Fittings such as blowpipe connector are of polished brass.

The waist and arm straps are made of webbing.  The arm strap can be kept buckled and the arm slipped in – in other words, strapping in and escaping again is quick and simple with no need to unbuckle.

CJ Dixon has been open to suggestions in his endeavour to provide a top-notch product. All in all, this has been a most satisfying purchase.  CJ Dixon has an excellent and friendly business manner and is easy to communicate with.  I will have no hesitation in ordering more parts from CJ Dixon to refurbish my old bellows as a backup."
